Location:
Located at strategic point in Hemja
[Village Development Committee] ward no.2 Pokhara. District Kaski under Gandaki
zone. The school lies in front of the majestic viewpoint of Mount Machhapuchre,
which means Fistail adjoining with Spellbinding Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt.
Annapurna. The
name of the school "Snow View" itself denotes the true geographical
location. It has a very peaceful environment surrounded by different types of
green trees.
Condition:
As the school lies under Village Development Committee, most of the village
people are uneducated, especially the student's guardians. They want their children
to learn better English language. As the environment created in the school was
not enough for the children to learn English Language properly we humbly would
like to request and invite foreign VSO's to help our children to tackle this
problem. It will not only help our children but also will create an English
environment for all the local teachers and parents as well. We would be very
glad to accept new method of teachings and ideas to upgrade the quality of education
in our country through VSO's.

Foundation:
The school was established in 2053 B.S i.e. 1996 AD. Presently it is successfully
run by three capable founders. The school has moderate facilities like spacious
classroom, playground, clean toilets, bathrooms, water tank etc. The school has
classes till standard eight starting from pre-primary level. There are fifteen
teachers and a peon, a guard and a gardener. The total number of students in
the school is two hundred seventy. We have been trying our best to give the
best type of modern education system to our children but due to the lack of
adequate teaching materials we haven't been able to provide quality education
to our children.
